Aberdeen Wings News Release
The Aberdeen Wings announced Monday that they will host 3 pre season exhibition games in September. The Wings will welcome in the Topeka Road Runners September 4th & 5th and the Brookings Blizzard September 12th. The Wings will also travel to Brookings September 11th. Head Coach Francis Anzalone had this to say about the games; "Playing four exhibition games against quality NAHL opponents will give our staff an opportunity to evaluate the players, evaluate our team concepts and gain more knowledge as to who we have, what we have and the areas we will need to focus on for Blaine. We look forward to hosting Topeka on September 4 and getting the exhibition season underway."
Members of the Wings organization will be participating in the Out of the Darkness Walk the morning of September 12th. The walk is to raise money for suicide prevention education in the Aberdeen area. Registration for the walk begins at 9am and the walk will start around 10:30. Anyone purchasing a T-shirt for Out of the Darkness will receive FREE admission into that nights game! Â
