Wings Select Three in 2021 NAHL Supplemental Draft

The Aberdeen Wings have selected a goalie, a defenseman and a forward to join the Wings roster for the 2021-22 hockey season.

The first pick, 28th overall, is goaltender Edward "Jed" Baliotti from New Canaan, CT. At 6'3" and 185 lbs., he most recently played with the Green Bay Gamblers in the USHL. Before that, he was a member of the NCDC's Northern Cyclones, where he recorded a 3.82 goals-against average and a .879 save percentage in eight games played.

The Wings' second pick, 55th overall, is Hugo Lindman Gustavsson, a 6'0" 190 lb. defenseman from Östervåla, Sweden. During his 2020-21 season with the Brynäs IF J20 team, Hugo recorded two goals and four assists in 14 games played. He'll come to Aberdeen from the Sport Vaasa U20 team.

The third and final pick, 71st overall, is Felikss Egils Gavars. The 5'10" 182 lb. left-hander from Riga, Latvia spent his 2020-21 season with the Selects Academy 18U AAA team, where he recorded 15 goals and 23 assists in 26 games played.
