With WNBA action less than 100 days from tipping off our players are wrapping up their seasons overseas. Here's the latest on Wings players that are still in action abroad!
Glory Johnson - Xinjiang (China)
After playing in Turkey earlier in the offseason, forward Glory Johnson has joined Xinjiang of the Chinese WCBA. Through four games she is averaging 17.8 points, 11 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game. Johnson has put up double-doubles in two of her last four outings, 18 points and 15 rebounds on Feb. 13 and 19 points and 17 rebounds on Feb. 20. Both contests were against Beijing in the WCBA Quarterfinals.
Maggie Lucas - Bretagne Basket (France)
Guard Maggie Lucas has put together a season for Bretagne Basket that includes her averaging 9.9 points, three rebounds and 1.3 steals per game. She's also shooting 93.9 percent from the free throw line, going five-for-five in her last outing against Villeneuve on Feb. 17.
Kayla Thornton - KB Stars (South Korea)
Kayla Thornton and the KB Stars have been on fire as of late. Winning 15 of its last 16 games, the Stars are sitting in second of the WKBL standings and Thornton is a huge part of that success. The forward had collected six double-doubles in the past eight games.
