Your Aberdeen Wings traveled to Austin, MN last night to kick off the exhibition game schedule for the 2019-2020 season. 3 different, and new faces lit the lamp sending the Wings to a 3-2 win over the Bruins. Trevor Russell got the Wings on the board late in the 1st period cutting Austin's lead in half after 1 period of play 2-1. The freshest face to the Wings tied things up in the 2nd period with a Nátán Vertes goal. In the 3rd it would be Zach Aughe to get the game winner. The Wings return to the Odde tonight to host Austin. Doors open at 5:30 and the puck always drops at 7:15! GA tickets are just $5 and can only be purchased at the door! PAID Season Ticket Holders will receive FREE admission! Please only use the East doors tonight, as everyone will have to check in!
