Wings Host Washington In Playoffs At First Union Center On March 30

The defending National Lacrosse League Champion Philadelphia Wings will advance to the playoffs and face the Washington Power at the First Union Center on Saturday, March 30 at 8 p.m. and tickets are now on sale. The Wings qualified for the sixth and final spot in the NLL playoffs this evening after the Albany Attack defeated the Montreal Express by a score of 14-6. By virtue of a tiebreaker with the Buffalo Bandits, the Wings advance to defend their NLL title. The Wings (8-8) face faced the Power (9-7) two times this season with each team winning one game each (on home field).

The Wings are led by Tom Marechek with 98 points (45G, 53A), Kevin Finneran with 79 points (39G, 40A), Jeff Ratcliffe with 67 points (47G, 20A), and Jake Bergey with 60 points (30G, 30A).

The Power are led by Paul Gait with 114 points (53G, 61A),Gary Gait with 112 points (51G, 61A), Del Halladay with 75 points (31G, 44A), and Paul Cantebene with 57 points (18G, 39A).

Great lower level seats are still available.
