Arlington, Texas - The Dallas Wings (9-13) fell to the Connecticut Sun (15-6), 80 - 59, Sunday afternoon at College Park Center.
The Wings attack was led by 2021 All-Star Game MVP Arike Ogunbowale, who dropped 20 points, the 12th time this season Ogunbowale has reached the 20-point plateau. Ogunbowale, with her 45th career 20 point game, surpassed Cynthia Cooper to hold the highest percentage of 20-point games per games played, netting at least 20 points in 58.4% of her games.
Olympic Gold Medalist Allisha Gray added 11 points of her own and the team shot 46.2% from the field, the 16th time this season Dallas has shot greater than 40% from the field.
The Wings next head on the road to face the Chicago Sky Tuesday, August 17 at 7 p.m. CT.
