Wings Fall to Dream, 80-75

Atlanta, Georgia - The Dallas Wings (8-9) fell to the Atlanta Dream (8-8), 80 - 75, at Gateway Center, Tuesday evening.

Wings center Teaira McCowan netted 14 points, her third double-digit scoring performance of the season, all in the past five games. She was joined in double-figures by Allisha Gray (18, team-high) and Arike Ogunbowale (14). The Wings also grabbed 31 rebounds as a team, their fifth straight game with at least 30 rebounds.

Dallas returns home to battle the Indiana Fever (5-13) on Thursday, June 23, at 7:00 p.m. CT.

Notables:

Arike Ogunbowale recorded 14 points, her 14th double-digit scoring performance this year.

Guard Allisha Gray netted 18 points for her team-high 16th game with 10 or more. She also added six rebounds, four assists and two steals.

Teaira McCowan dropped 14 points, her third game in double-figures in her past five contests.

The Wings swiped 10 steals, the third time they have had 10 or more steals as a team this season.

The Wings have made at least 10 free throws in all but one game this season, including sinking 19 tonight (19 - 26, 73%).
