The Philadelphia Wings today announced the signing of free agent Dan Marohl. The 6'10", 200-pound forward will join the team tonight as they face the New Jersey Storm at the Continental Airlines Arena at 7:30 p.m.

"We're lucky to have acquired Dan as a free agent," said Wings General Manager Marty O'Neill. "He's a flashy offensive player who will bolster our scoring power as we head into two crucial games this week."

Marohl was released by the Ottawa Rebel earlier this season. He scored one goal in three games played for the Rebel. The twenty-four year old finished the 2002 season as the Rebel's fifth leading scorer with 40 points (15G, 25A) in 14 games played. Wings fans will get their first look at their new acquisition when the Wings return to the First Union Center this Saturday, February 8 to take on the Rochester Knighthawks at 8 p.m.

Game tickets, which include free admission to the Broad Street Bash, start as low as $18 ($20 day of game). Individual game tickets for Wings indoor lacrosse are $18, $23, and $27 in advance ($20, $25, and $29 on game day) and are available at the First Union Center box office and all Ticketmaster locations. Fans can save money on tickets by purchasing season tickets, starting as low as $120, for all eight Wings home games by calling 215-389-WINGS. Get your tickets now before they fly away!
