Windy City Bulls Fall to College Park Skyhawks at Home

The Windy City Bulls, presented by BMO, the NBA G League affiliate of the Chicago Bulls, lost to the College Park Skyhawks 133-111 Thursday night at NOW Arena. Windy City guard Javon Freeman-Liberty scored 31 points and grabbed eight rebounds.

Windy City center Daniel Oturu scored a season-high 17 points and secured six rebounds off the bench. Forward Charles Matthews finished with 16 points, shooting 50% from the field. Guard Ethan Thompson and center Aaron Wheeler each chipped in 13 points.

After being down just two in the first quarter, the Bulls found themselves trailing 58-48 at halftime before ultimately losing by 22.

College Park was led by center Chris Saliva with 29 points on 10-for-12 shooting from the field. Skyhawks forward Armoni Brooks scored 27 points, while guard Langston Galloway finished with 23 points.

With the loss, Windy City fell to 3-7 in the regular season, while College Park improved to 3-5.

Next up, the Bulls travel to Greensboro, NC to take on the Swarm on Saturday, Jan. 21. The game is slated to tip-off at 6 p.m. CT and will be broadcast on NBAGLeague.com.
