PORT CHARLOTTE, Fla. (April 14, 2014) - Alex Wimmers hurled six scoreless innings and the Fort Myers Miracle churned out 18 hits in a 7-3 win over the Charlotte Stone Crabs on Monday night at Charlotte Sports Park.

In the fourth inning, Hicks delivered a run-scoring triple with a scorcher hugging the first base line. After a lead off single by Michael, Hicks ripped a first pitch from Santiago (0-2). Michael raced home and the ball kicked off the wall down the right field line allowing Hicks to reach third for his first triple of the season.
The offense continued in the fifth with a pair of runs. Goodrum delivered two-out RBI double and Hicks earned a bases loaded walk to bring in his third RBI of the game.
In the sixth, Mike Gonzales doubled off Stone Crabs reliever D.J. Slaton. After a Stuart Turner and Max Kepler grounded out, Harrison doubled into right center to score Gonzales and push the Miracle lead to 7-0.
