Southaven, Miss. - The Mississippi RiverKings announced today that goaltender David Wilson has been returned from Rapid City of the Central Hockey League.

"We're very excited to have Willy back in the fold," Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations Derek Landmesser said. "His return will bring additional stability to our goaltending ranks as we approach the homestretch."

In one appearance with the Rush, Wilson took the loss in overtime as he stopped 25 of 26 shots against in relief of starter Tim Boron in a 6-5 loss against Quad City.

To make room for Wilson, the 'Kings placed goaltender Jeff Rose on waivers.

"We thank Jeff for his services to the organization this season," said Landmesser. "We wish him all the best in the future."

The Canton, CT native did not record a statistic with the RiverKings after stints with Fayetteville and Pensacola.

The RiverKings also announced the team has claimed forward Justin MacDonald off waivers from the Augusta Riverhawks. Terms were not released.

"Justin is a young kid who is going to provide a lot of energy to our forward lines," said Landmesser. "He's going to come in and help fill out our front lines."

The Newmarket, Ontario native has split his rookie season between the Fayetteville FireAntz and the Riverhawks. In 31 combined games this season, MacDonald tallied seven goals and nine assists.

Both he and Wilson will be available for this weekend's games.

The RiverKings take to the road this weekend with games against Huntsville (Thursday at 7:30), Columbus (Friday at 6:30) and Louisiana (Saturday at 7:05). The 'Kings return to the Landers Center for their final home game on March 16 at 7:05 against the Augusta Riverhawks.
