Wilmington Sea Dawgs Welcome Boy and Girl Scouts To Free Ticket Day

December 5, 2006 - American Basketball Association (ABA)
Wilmington Sea Dawgs News Release

Wilmington, NC - The Wilmington Sea Dawgs have teamed up with area boy scouts and girl scouts organizations to offer scouts and their group leaders the opportunity to attend a professional basketball game at no charge.

Scouting participants who wear his/her uniform to the December 10th game will be able to attend the game for free.

"Because many of our games are in the evening, we chose this Sunday's game (with an early start time) to allow scouts and their families to come out and help cheer us to victory.", says Head Coach Kevin Whitted. "We hope many of the scouts will stay after the game to meet their favorite players, dancers, and of course our skateboarding mascot, "Salty Dawg'."

The game takes place on Sunday, December 10th at 4:05 pm at the Schwartz Center (Cape Fear Community College campus downtown). There is plenty of free parking close to the venue. No advance tickets are required. The ticket window will open at 3:15 p.m. on game day. Regular admission prices are in effect for all other guests.

The Wilmington Sea Dawgs are currently the team to beat in its division. The team has just returned from a winning game against the Richmond Ballerz and a tough loss against the Maryland Nighthawks. The Wilmington Sea Dawgs will be playing the Newark Express on Sunday.
