Williamsport Crosscutters News Release
Area children participated in the recent PITCH, HIT & RUN competition hosted by the Williamsport Crosscutters on April 30 at Historic Bowman Field.
The following children won first place, in the male division, in their respective age groups. They are;
Ages 7 & 8
Overall Champion - Dallas Griess/Williamsport
Pitching Champion- Dallas Griess/Williamsport
Hitting Champion - Dallas Griess/Williamsport
Running Champion - Dallas Griess/Williamsport
Ages 9 & 10
Overall Champion - Simon Wallace/Williamsport

Hitting Champion - Tim Ward/Roaring Branch
Running Champion - Simon Wallace/Williamsport
Ages 11 & 12
Overall Champion - Jake Walker/Berwick

The winners now move on to the PITCH, HIT & RUN sectional competition. Finals of the competition will take place at the 2011 Major League All-Star festivities in Phoenix, AZ.
PITCH, HIT & RUN is a national baseball skills competition that allows youngsters to showcase their talents in pitching, hitting and running with scores determined by individual performances in each skills event.
