
Williams traded to Xplosion for Phillips

Albany, NY - February 15, 2007 - The Patroons most recent CBA transaction includes the trade of C Eric Williams to the Pittsburgh Xplosion for F Marvin Phillips. Marvin Phillips is a 6'7" F/G.
Phillips played one season (2001-2) at Dodge City (KS) Community College and two seasons (2002-4) at Division II Claflin College (Orangeburg, SC).
Marvin began his professional career in the ABA playing for the Reigning Knights of Georgia during the 2004-5 season. Next he moved to WBA with the 2005-6 South Carolina Heat. Phillips then joined the Northeastern Pennsylvania Breakers of hte USBL. That was followed by a trip to prestigious Southern California Summer Pro League. A short stint with the NBDL's Anaheim Arsenal during the summer of 2006 was Marvin's next move. Phillips comes to the Patroons after signing with the Xplosion in November 2006.
