Miners spoil Patroons CBA Roadtrip Sweep
After a Saturday night, 140 -111, 7 point "message sending" win for the Patroons against the East Kentucky Miners, the Miners came back Sunday night 117-116 in front of a loud crowd of 964 at the Expo Center., taking 5 1/2 standing points in the effort. With less than 10 seconds to go in this nail biter, Miner Galen Young's steal and break away slam put East Kentucky up for good, 117-116. The Patroons, leading by as many as 16 in the first half, ended the impressive CBA road trip 5-1.
Albany returns to the Armory for a 5 game home stand this Wednesday, January 28, Friday January 30, Saturday January 31st against the Miners and Monday February 2 and Tuesday February 3 against the defending CBA champions, the Lawton Fort Sill Cavs and Michael Ray Richardson. All games 7:05 pm.
