
Will Ford Named Special Teams Player of the Week

WINNIPEG, MB - October 8, 2013 - After returning a kickoff 100 yards on Saturday in Calgary, and finishing the game with four returns for 148 yards, Blue Bomber running back/returner Will Ford was named Special Teams Player of the Week for the second time in five weeks. Ford also garnered this award in Week 11 after returning a kickoff 98 yards for a touchdown.
Ford returned a 3rd quarter kickoff 100 yards, while also contributing largely on offence, rushing 11 times for 156 yards - a career best.
Ford is in his second season with the Bombers after joining the club as a free agent in July of 2012.
