
Wilderness Split Holiday Weekend with Bruins

CLOQUET, MN - The Minnesota Wilderness had a two-game weekend over the holiday, topping the Austin Bruins on home ice on November 27th and traveling to Austin on November 29th.
At the Annual Turkey Bowling Game in Northwoods Arena, Asst. Captain #8 Nate Horn sniped a goal from the top of the circle and #25 Garrett Worth buried a one-timer from #16 Aaron Myers. #8 Horn ended the game with an empty-net goal and the Wilderness topped the Bruins 4-2.
Later in the week, the Wilderness traveled to Austin and battled in a high scoring game, but fell 5-6 to the Bruins. #27 Jake Herter netted back to back goals in the first period and scored in the previous match up for a three-point weekend. #16 Aaron Myers came out of the weekend with four points on assists.
The next Wilderness home game in Cloquet is December 13th, 2019 at 7:05pm.
