
Wildcats win series in five with 4-0 shutout

The Moncton Wildcats took their round one series with the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles 4 games to 1, with a strong 4-0 shutout victory on Saturday night in front of 5258 fans at the Coliseum.
Moncton lead 1-0 after the firs, increased the lead to 3-0 in the second and scored an empty net goal late in the third.
Nicolas Deschamps, Kelsey Tessier, Gabriel Bourque and Devon MacAusland were the Cats goal scorers. Nicola Riopel stopped 30 shots for the shutout win.
