South Georgia Wildcats News Release
ALBANY , GA- Today is the last day as a Wildcat for South Georgia Wildcats' Public Relations Director Amy Summers. Summers has accepted a job with the Los Angeles Dodgers, and will start there in February.
Summers started with the Wildcats in January of 2006, working mainly in group sales, and became the Director of Public Relations for the Wildcats in October. She will be working as a Public Relations Associate for the Dodgers.
"This is a bittersweet time for the Wildcats organization," says General Manager Darren McPhail. "While we wish Amy nothing but success in Los Angeles, replacing everything she brought to the Wildcats will be nearly impossible. She has been an unbelievable asset to the team and community. We wish her the best and know that she will make the Wildcats and the Arena Football Family very proud."
The Wildcats have not yet named a replacement for Summers. All communications regarding community appearances, media relations, or public relations should be directed to the Wildcats' General Manager Darren McPhail, or to the Wildcats' general line at 229 435 0205.
