
Wild Things extend partnership with Washington Federal Savings Bank

Washington, PA - The Washington Wild Things announced Washington Federal Savings Bank has extended its partnership with the independent minor league team. Washington Federal Savings Bank has been the team's presenting sponsor since the Wild Things' inception in 2002. As the team's presenting sponsor, Washington Federal is entitled to recognition on ballpark signage, logo identification on player and staff uniforms, and in all marketing and press materials.
"This agreement takes the Wild Things and Washington Federal through the 2010 season," said John Swiatek, managing partner for the Wild Things. "Washington Federal was one of the team's first partners, and I think we've forged a wonderful relationship. We couldn't be happier."
Washington Federal Savings Bank, a century old financial services company, has been locally owned and operated for more than 100 years. The bank has offices in Canonsburg, Hickory, McMurray, and Washington. They also have loan centers in McMurray and Wexford.
"The partnership between the two organizations has been very successful to date," said Brian Smith, President of Washington Federal. "We are a very community oriented company, and we are pleased with the way the Wild Things support and represent our community. We're looking forward to continuing the partnership."
The Wild Things open the season at home on Wednesday, May 23rd when they host the Slippery Rock Sliders. Game time is 7:05 p.m.
