MINOT, Minn. - The Wenatchee Wild jumped out to a 2-0first-period lead Friday at the Maysa Arena in Minot, Minn., and never lookedback in an eventual 3-0 victory over the Minot Minotauros.

Wenatchee improved to 5-0 with the win and will try to sweepthe Minotauros Saturday and earn a sixth consecutive victory. Faceoff is setfor 6:05 p.m. For a small fee, fans can watch the game live by logging on to www.FASTHockey.com.

Blake Roubos (NiagaraFalls, Canada) put the Wild up 3:51 into the contest when he notched his firstgoal of the season on a centering feed from Jono Davis (La Verne, Calif.). JoshHartley (Coquitlam, Canada), who was named the West Division Star of theWeek Monday, picked up his seventh point of the 2012-13 campaign with thesecond assist.

The Wild scored another late-period goal with 1:39 remainingin the first stanza to take a 2-goal lead when Chris Kravtchouk buried a pass to the backdoor from Davis. David Mead (Conklin, N.Y.) alsoassisted.

Chris Kerr (Penticton,British Columbia) closed out scoring on an empty-netter with 49 secondsremaining in regulation.

Wild netminder RobertNichols (Dallas, Texas) stopped all 26 shots he faced to earn his firstshutout of the season. Ryan Ruck made 18 saves on 20 shots for Minot.

Davis, who was plus-3 in Friday's game, notched two assiststo give him a team-best 11 points on the season.

Minot was unable to capitalize on any of its nine power playchances. Wenatchee went 0-for-2 on its power play opportunities.
