Wild Aim for Winning Streak in Allen on Saturday

The Wichita Wild will be looking to win back-to-back games vs. teams from the Lone Star State in IFL action this week. The Wild will visit the Allen Wranglers on Saturday with kickoff slated for 7:05 pm.

Allen enters the game with a 4-3 record. Last week the Wranglers fell to the Nebraska Danger by a score of 60-37. Several core members of the Wranglers squad sat out last week, plagued by broken wrists, chicken pox and concussions. Running back Aaron Mason ended the night with four touchdowns, including a 52-yard kickoff return. He led the team in rushing with 48 yards. Jason Jones led the team in receiving with 72 yards. Kicker Garrett Courtney leads the league with 17 field goals made.

Last week the Wild scored their first victory with a 56-32 victory over Amarillo. Jake Sharp returned the opening kickoff 55 yards for a touchdown. Sharp totaled 166 yards on four kickoff returns giving the Wild great field position all night long. Clinton Solmon's first four catches all went for touchdowns as he established a rhythm with QB Shane Mascarenas. Solomon finished with six receptions for 83 yards.

The game can be heard on 1330-AM KNSS with pregame coverage starting at 6:50 pm. Fans can also gather at Emerson Biggins West where the game will be broadcast on their big screen TV's.
