WHL Hockey Live On Rogers Sportsnet: Sunday, December 6 - Vancouver Giants at Chilliwack Bruins

Calgary, AB - Craig Cunningham and the Vancouver Giants (19-10-1-2) visit Ryan Howse and the Chilliwack Bruins (12-15-1-4) for a battle of B.C. Division rivals on Sunday.

Sunday's contest between the Giants and Bruins can be seen LIVE on Rogers Sportsnet (5:00pm PST; All RSN Channels).

The Bruins fell 6-3 to the visiting Calgary Hitmen on Saturday night for their second straight setback and their fourth loss in five games, and currently sit in fourth place in the B.C. Division. The Bruins are 6-9-0-2 on home ice this season. Howse scored two goals in Saturday's loss to the Hitmen, upping his team-leading goal total to 24 this season.

The Giants are coming off a 5-2 win over the visiting Edmonton Oil Kings on Saturday night that snapped a two-game losing skid, and currently sit in first place in the B.C. Division. The Giants own a 6-2-1-2 record on the road this season. Cunningham scored three goals in Saturday's win over the Oil Kings.

It's the fifth meeting of the season between the Giants and Bruins. The Giants won the first three encounters, but the Bruins won the most recent meeting between the teams.

Elsewhere on Sunday, Nino Niederreiter and the Portland Winterhawks (19-12-0-0) host Kyle Beach and the Spokane Chiefs (17-8-2-0) for a U.S. Division match-up.

The Winterhawks are coming off a 5-3 win over the visiting Everett Silvertips on Friday night for their third straight victory, and currently sit in second place in the U.S. Division. Niederreiter has notched four goals and eight points over the course of the Hawks' three-game win streak.

The Chiefs are coming off a 4-2 victory over the visiting Seattle Thunderbirds on Friday night for their third straight victory, and currently trail Portland by two points for second place in the division. Beach leads the Chiefs with 21 goals this season.

In Regina, SK, Jordan Eberle and the Regina Pats (15-14-3-0) welcome Dustin Cameron and the Prince Albert Raiders (17-13-1-2) for an East Division battle on Sunday.

The Pats dropped a 6-4 decision to the visiting Brandon Wheat Kings on Saturday night for their second straight setback, and currently sit in sixth place in the East Division. Eberle scored three goals in Saturday's loss, and now shares the WHL lead with 26 goals this season.

The Raiders are coming off a 5-2 win in Swift Current on Saturday for their fifth victory in their last six games, and currently occupy third place in the East Division. The Raiders improved to 5-9-1-1 on the road with Saturday's win in Swift Current.
