WhiteWings Offer Skills Camp to Baseball and Softball Players

The Rio Grande Valley WhiteWings and Emory University will be conducting an All Skills Baseball and Softball Clinic at Harlingen Field on Tuesday, July 10 and Wednesday, July 11 from 9:30 a.m. to Noon both days.

This event is open to participants of all ages.

The cost is $65 with lunch included with WhiteWings players each day plus a T-Shirt and one ticket each to Tuesday AND Wednesday nights WhiteWings game vs. McAllen Thunder where each camp member will be recognized in their clinic shirt during each night's game.

The featured softball instructor will be Lee Dobbins, a softball coach at Emory. Dobbins is the former head coach at Lander University and has been a part of instructional camps for 17 years at 12 different universities, including Tennessee, Alabama, South Carolina, Missouri, Stetson, and Texas A & M-I.

The clinic will feature separate instruction for baseball and softball in all areas of offense, defense, pitching and catching. Each camper will need to bring a glove, cleats, bat, helmet (if possible) and comfortable practice clothes.

Pre-registration is required. Checks should be made out to Rio Grande Valley WhiteWings Baseball Club and sent to:
