Abilene Prairie Dogs News Release

ABILENE, TX - Due to travel complications, the Rio Grande Valley Whitewings did not arrive at Walt Drigger's Field on Tuesday night. Instead, the Prairie Dogs welcomed a group of United League Prospects, and the Dogs made quick work of their opponents on the way to a 19-1 victory.

Braden Tullis got the start for Abilene and tossed four hitless innings. Eddie Browne notched four singles and four runs scored, and Chris Caves collected three hits including a double and four R.B.I. on the way to a lopsided victory.

In addition, fans are encouraged to keep their ticket stubs. The tickets can be used to gain general admission into any of the remaining games at Walt Drigger's Field in 2012.

The Prairie Dogs resume their regular season schedule on Wednesday night when they begin a four-game series in Edinburg at 7:05. Hear the game on 106.9 KLGD or on the internet by clicking the "listen live" link on abileneprairiedogs.com beginning with the pregame show at 6:55.
