Rio Grande Valley WhiteWings News Release


Amarillo, TX - Severe thunderstorms in the area are forcing the cancelation of tonight's scheduled game between the first half champion Rio Grande Valley WhiteWings (43-41, 14-and the Amarillo Dillas (43-42, 17-18) at Amarillo National Bank Dilla Villa.

This was to be the last time the two teams met during the regular season. The game will not be made up.

The WhiteWings return home to take on the Alexandria Aces for the first of four tomorrow night at 7:05. Maximino de la Cruz (6-6) is expected to start for the WhiteWings.
