VANCOUVER, BC - With 22 goals this season, Vancouver Whitecaps FC striker Camilo Sanvezzo has claimed the 2013 Budweiser Golden Boot, awarded to the league's top goal scor er at the end of the regular season. The 25-year-old Brazilian scored a hat-trick tonight at home to Colorado Rapids in Vancouver's final game of the season to secure the honour.

Counting his three goals in the Amway Canadian Championship, Camilo scored 25 goals in all competitions during the 2013 season.

While he scored some remarkable goals this year, his scissor-kick against Portland Timbers on October 6 makes him a strong contender for the AT&T MLS Goal of the Year.

Camilo had six two-goal games in MLS this season and received a league leading three Player of the Week honors. With 38 career goals in league play, he is Vancouver's all-time leader in MLS regular season goals.
