Winston-Salem, NC â Seven former Winston-Salem Warthogs are among the Chicago White Sox top 10 prospects for 2005 as announced by Baseball America on Monday. All seven played in Winston-Salem during the past two seasons.
1. Brian Anderson, of...hit .319 with 22 doubles and 46 RBIs in 69 games for Winston-Salem in 2004.
2. Ryan Sweeney, of...hit .283 with 22 doubles, seven home runs, and 66 RBIs in 134 games for Winston-Salem in 2004.
3. Brendan McCarthy, rhp...went 6-0 in eight starts with Winston-Salem in 2004.
4. Josh Fields, 3b...hit .285 with 12 doubles, seven home runs and 39 RBIs for Winston-Salem in 2004.
5. Sean Tracey, rhp...went 9-8 in 27 starts with a 2.73 ERA for Winston-Salem in 2004.

7. Gio Gonzalez, lhp
8. Francisco Hernandez, c
9. Pedro Lopez, ss...hit .292 with 13 doubles and 35 RBIs in 112 games with Winston-Salem in 2004.
10. Kris Honel, rhp...right elbow trouble limited Honel to just four games pitched in 2004...Honel helped Winston-Salem win the Carolina League championship in 2003 with a team high nine wins.
