Milestone Mason: Mason Ward played in his 100th career WHL game on Saturday night. The Lloydminster, AB native has scored four times and added 16 assists for 20 points in his career. In 17 games with the Wheat Kings, Ward has one goal and three assists.
Nolan's Night: For the third time in his WHL career, Nolan Ritchie put up two goals in a game. While the hat-trick has eluded him to this point in his career, the Brandonite leads the BWK in scoring with 28 points (12G-16A). RItchie has points in ten of his last thirteen games, including three goals last weekend.
Monthly Winner: Ethan Kruger was named the WHL Goalie of the Week by the WHL yesterday. Kruger posted a 2-0-0-1 record, 1.95 goals-against average and .945 save percentage over three road starts for the Wheat Kings this past week, making 34 or more saves in each of his three appearances.
