What is the top moment in RiverKings' history?
October 3, 2006 - Central Hockey League (CHL)
Mississippi RiverKings News Release
SOUTHAVEN, MS --- Is it the first game in team history at Oklahoma City on November 4, 1992? Or how about one of the two President's Cup winning overtime goals in 2002 and 2003? Maybe Don Parsons' 1000th career point?
Through 14 years of hockey, the Memphis RiverKings have had many memorable on-ice moments. This season, with the franchise celebrating its 15th anniversary, is a perfect time to select that top moment.
From now until the start of the regular season, RiverKings fans can nominate their favorite moments with the top nominations being placed on a final ballot for fan voting during the season.
Fans can nominate their moment or moments via email to anniversary@riverkings.com, fax them to the attention of Media Relations Director Jim Erickson at 662-342-1156 or through the U.S. mail to: RiverKings Top Moment, Attn: Jim Erickson, 4560 Venture Dr, Southaven, MS 38671.
The RiverKings also announced early this summer that they will also be selecting an All-Time Team as a 15th anniversary event. Nominations are still being taken for the team. Fans can use the same contact information as above. Like the top moment entries, the top All Time Team nominations will be placed on final ballot for fan voting once the season starts.
Both the RiverKings' All Time Team and Top Moment in RiverKings History will be announced during the 2006-2007 season.
