Fort Myers Mighty Mussels News Release

*Apparently, Tim can play baseball too!**FORT MYERS, Fla. (August 9, 2016)* - Well, well, well... nearly seven years ago, the Fort Myers Miracle dared to ask the question, "What Would Tim Tebow Do - With the recent breaking news of Tebow attempting a career in professional baseball, the Miracle are now asking "What Can Tim Tebow Do - with a special Tebow-inspired night at Hammond Stadium on Thursday, August 11.

Prior to the Miracle battling the Charlotte Stone Crabs at 7:05 p.m., the Miracle will offer fans the opportunity to step into the warm glow of the spotlight that Tebow has enjoyed since becoming a nationwide football phenomenon as a freshman at the University of Florida in 2006. Understandably, fans may not want to step away from the spotlight and the attention that comes with it, so the Miracle mascot Sway will be available for free hugs to those that struggle with the transition.

Inspired by Tebow's change in career path, the Miracle will also be hosting a one-day Job Fair at the ballpark for any fan that is looking for a mid-life career change. Anybody can work in baseball! It's so easy!

On the field, the Miracle will host a special Tebow-themed between innings contest. Two fans will be plucked from the stands to compete in an accuracy contest. While throwing four baseballs at a target, if the contestants hit the bullseye with at least two of four attempts (bettering the 47.9 percent completion rate from Tebow's NFL career) then they will win a set of Miracle tickets and a bowl of Gator Bite Cheese Curds.

Of course, any fan wearing a Gator, Bronco, Jets, Patriots or Eagles Tebow jersey will receive free admittance. Also, any fan dressed in a suit, slacks and a tie, like Tebow's current job on ESPN, will also enter Hammond Stadium for free!

In addition to "What Can Tim Tebow Do - night, Thursday is also the Night of 1,000 Prizes and a Thirsty Thursday. For tickets and information, call the Miracle offices at (239) 768-4210 or visit www.miraclebaseball.com.
