Colorado Mammoth News Release
DENVER - Drew Westervelt and Jarett Park have signed one-year deals with the Colorado Mammoth, pending league approval, and will be at training camp when it opens on Friday, the team announced today. The right-handers are two of just five Americans on a roster that is dominated by Canadians.
"Drew was our biggest off-season acquisition via trade - both literally and figuratively," said Mammoth president & general manager Steve Govett. "I'm happy to have Jarett in camp as well."
Westervelt, a Bel Air, Md. native, has score 30 or more goals in four of the past five seasons. The six-foot-five-inch, 238-pound forward had 302 career points in six seasons with the Philadelphia Wings.
Park, a transition player who hails from a suburb of Syracuse, N.Y., has collected 676 loose balls in 100 career games. He enters his fourth season in Colorado.
