Knighthawks Expand Preseason Schedule

The Rochester Knighthawks announced their full preseason schedule today, which now includes scrimmages against the Toronto Rock and Calgary Roughnecks. Rochester will open its three-game slate on Saturday, December 7th against the Minnesota Swarm at The Blue Cross Arena

The Knighthawks will then travel to Oakville, Ontario to play the rival Toronto Rock on Saturday, December 14th. The back-to-back National Lacrosse League Champions will battle their East Division foes at 7:00 p.m. at the Toronto Rock Athletic Centre (TRAC). Rochester will close out the preseason with an 11:00 a.m. scrimmage against Calgary on Sunday, December 15th at the Iroquois Lacrosse Arena (ILA). The game at the ILA is free and open to the public.

Rochester will open the preseason on their home turf in a rematch of the 2013 East Division Finals. The Knighthawks will host the Minnesota Swarm on December 7th at 7:30 p.m. Prior to the contest, the National Lacrosse League will host the Hall of Fame Ceremony for former Rochester great Pat O'Toole at 7:00 p.m. O'Toole, who is the only member of the Class of 2013, will become the fifth goaltender and 21st member of the league's Hall of Fame.

Fans who would like to spend time with O'Toole can attend an exclusive VIP Reception from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the upper atrium of The Blue Cross Arena. Tickets are just $15 each and include food, non-alcoholic drinks, as well as conversing and taking photos with O'Toole.
