Colorado Mammoth News Release
DENVER - For the past few years, the Colorado Mammoth has celebrated 'Western' Night at Pepsi Center with traditions that honor the culture, heritage and history of the Centennial State. The team unveiled its 'Western' Night jerseys, which are embellished by a version of the Mammoth logo never seen before, on Tuesday at Brothers Bar & Grill in Lone Tree, Colo. at Mammoth Happy Hour.
"We are the Colorado Mammoth," said president & general manager Steve Govett. "We're incredibly proud of our home state, and we wanted to create jerseys to reflect a symbol of the state that is so revered."
The primary jersey-color is the blue from the state flag, and the state's 'C' is prominently displayed. The Mammoth's tusk-logo colors are no longer burgundy, black and silver; instead, they're blue, yellow and red. Player shorts match the jerseys.
'Western' Night is Sat., Mar. 29 at 7pm on HealthONE Field at Pepsi Center. The theme-night jerseys will be available for purchase at Altitude Authentics at Pepsi Center this Saturday night as the Mammoth takes on the Buffalo Bandits at 7pm on 'Military Appreciation Night'.
