Westchester Knicks News Release

WHITE PLAINS, NY - For the first time in its franchise history, the Westchester Knicks, the official NBA G League affiliate of the New York Knicks, have won the NBA G League Eastern Conference and the Atlantic Division. Hosting the winner of the first round matchup between the Grand Rapids Drive, the Detroit Pistons affiliate, and the Raptors 905, the Toronto Raptors' affiliate, the 2018 NBA G League Playoffs Conference Semifinals will tip off at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, April 2 at the Westchester County Center. The game will be broadcast nationally on NBA TV and locally on MSG Networks.

Tickets are on sale now at Ticketmaster outlets, on WestchesterKnicks.com, and at the Westchester County Center Box Office. Westchester Knicks season ticket members will receive an email to purchase tickets at their same regular season ticket member price. Dates and times for future playoff games at the Westchester County Center to be announced.

Westchester clinched the number one overall seed in the Eastern Conference, earning a bye into the second round, with the Raptor 905's loss last Thursday to the Agua Caliente Clippers, the Los Angeles Clippers' affiliate. The playoffs will begin with three single-elimination rounds before culminating with a best-of-three NBA G League Finals, which will be played in a one-one-one format. This marks Westchester's second-ever playoffs appearance after clinching its first-ever berth in the 2015-16 season.

Led by head coach Mike Miller, the Westchester Knicks finished the regular season with a 32-18 record, marking a new season-high in wins for the franchise. The 2017-18 season saw four NBA Call-Ups for Westchester, the most in team history: Trey Burke to the New York Knicks, Nigel Hayes to the Los Angeles Lakers and the Toronto Raptors, and Xavier Rathan-Mayes to the Memphis Grizzlies. Luke Kornet and Isaiah Hicks, Two-Way players for the New York Knicks, highlight the Westchester's roster along with the recent addition of Washington Wizards Two-Way player Devin Robinson, on flexible assignment with Westchester as Washington has no NBA G League affiliate.
