WHITE PLAINS, January 20, 2015 - The Westchester Knicks, the official NBA Development League affiliate of the New York Knickerbockers, announced today that the team has acquired guard Robert Vaden in a trade with the Bakersfield Jam in exchange for the returning player rights to Josh Owen.
Vaden, 6-5, 215 pounds out of the University of Alabama at Birmingham, averaged 6.6 points, 1.7 assists and 1.6 rebounds over 19.7 minutes with the Jam.
Josh Owen was originally selected by the Westchester Knicks in the NBA Development League Expansion Draft on September 2, 2014 to comprise Westchester's 2014-15 Returning Player List.
