
Westchester Knicks Acquire Ousmane Drame

WHITE PLAINS, NY - The Westchester Knicks, the official NBA G League affiliate of the New York Knicks, today announced the team has acquired guard Ousmane Drame from the available player pool.
Drame (6-9, 225) most recently played for Ironi Nahariya of the Israeli Basketball Premier League, appearing in five games to average 6.4 points and 3.4 rebounds over 15.2 minutes per game. He previously played for Samsunspor DSI in Turkey and Divina Seguros Joventut in Spain.
A 2015 graduate of Quinnipiac, Drame averaged 11.1 points, 9.0 rebounds, and 1.8 blocks over 24.7 minutes per game. Drame finished as the program leader in blocked shots (217) and led the team in rebounds, blocked shots, and double- doubles his senior year; his 44 career double-doubles tying Quinnipiac's standing record. Named the 2015 MAAC Defensive Player of the Year, Drame was selected to the All-MAAC Second Team twice (2014, 2015), the NABC All-District Second Team in 2015, and the NEC All-Rookie Team in 2012. After going undrafted in the 2015 NBA Draft, Drame participated in the Washington Wizards' Summer League mini-camp.
The Westchester Knicks are back home at the historic Westchester County Center tomorrow, March 8 at 7:00 p.m. ET to host the Long Island Nets, the Brooklyn Nets' affiliate. The game will be broadcast nationally on Eleven Sports Network and streamed live locally via Facebook Live .
