Westchester Earns Big Road Win over Wisconsin

OSHKOSH, Wis. - The Westchester Knicks swept the season series against the Wisconsin Herd with a 123-95 win at Menominee Nation Arena Saturday night.

The Knicks' win was the result of quality play on both sides of the ball. They shot 54.8 percent from the field, outscoring the Herd in every quarter except the fourth. On defense, Westchester forced Wisconsin to commit 20 turnovers, which they converted into 32 points.

Westchester's impressive shooting was a common theme in the series, with the Knicks knocking down an average of 51.8 percent of their shots. Westchester tallied an average of 119.3 points per game against Wisconsin this season, almost 12 points better than their season average.

Wisconsin had all five starters score in double digits and six in total, led by guard Robert Johnson's 21-point outing. Center Shevon Thompson also had a notable night, earning his second double-double in as many nights (10 points, 12 rebounds) and his tenth of the season.

The Knicks finished the game with three 20-point scorers: center Stephen Zimmerman and guard Billy Garrett who both finished with 23, while forward Jameel Warney added 22 in his team's win.

The Herd play their third consecutive home game on Wednesday where they will take on the Santa Cruz Warriors. Westchester also plays at home in their next game, taking on the Windy City Bulls March 7.
