JACKSON, TN--The West Tenn Diamond Jaxx, the "AA" Southern League Affiliate of the Chicago Cubs, will team up with AdvantEdge Sports to host a three-day baseball camp June 5-7. The Summer Camp, intended for ages 6-14, will take place at Pringles Park. Each day of the camp will begin at 8:30a.m. and will conclude at 12:00p.m.

The 2006 Diamond Jaxx and AdvantEdge Sports Summer Camp will focus on improving fundamental baseball skills by using instructional methods from baseball professionals as well as instructional videos. The camp will offer the children the opportunity to share the field with the Diamond Jaxx and receive instruction from the future stars of the Chicago Cubs.

The cost of the 2006 Summer Camp is a flat rate of $125.00 per child (team discounts are available). The Summer Camp fee includes instruction from AdvantEdge Sports owners Will Lowrey and former Union University Head Coach Andy Rushing, as well as select members of the Diamond Jaxx. The fee also includes a camp tee shirt, free General Admission tickets to the June 7 game as well as recognition on the field before the game on June 7.
