
BayBears come back from 8-1 deficit to win

MOBILE, AL- The BayBears trailed 8-1 after four innings Tuesday afternoon, but would come back to beat the Jacksonville Suns 11-10. The BayBears scored six times with two outs in the seventh inning, and three in the eighth inning. The six run seventh was the most runs the BayBears have scored in an inning in 2006. Michael Johnson played for the first time since Opening Night, and went 2-for-2 with three RBI?s.
Roger Deago allowed seven runs in three innings, but Mobile?s starter didn?t factor in the decision. Spike Lundberg pitched six innings and allowed just two BayBears runs, but would also pick up a no-decision. The BayBears would also get two hits each from Juan Ciriaco, Brett Bonvechio, Luis Cruz and Steve Baker.
The BayBears won two of the five games against Jacksonville, and will next travel to West Tenn for five games. All BayBears action can be heard on 1480 AM WABB, Comcast Cable Channel 18, and on the internet via mobilebaybears.com.
