Thursday, August 12th - Tune in to KUZZ at 7:30am, as Blitz Head Coach Rick Van Horne will be discussing the upcoming playoff game on Saturday, August 14th against the Peoria Pirates. The Blitz are battling for the opportunity to play in the Conference Championship on Saturday, August 21st.
Thursday, August 12th - The Condors "Care-a-Van" makes its third stop this summer in Lake Isabella. Starting with a trip to the Kern River Valley Branch of the Kern County Library for their Summer Reading program from 10:30 am - 11:30 am. Following the library, the Condors, Colonel Claw'd, and Condors staff will join the Kern Valley Exchange Club for lunch at Paradise Cove from 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm. Paradise Cove is located at 10700 Hwy 178. The final stop of the day is at the French Gulch Marina. French Gulch Marina is located at Hwy 155 Pioneer Point. At each stop, by making a donation to Goodwill Industries, fans can receive a free terrace level ticket to the Condors Opening Night game Friday, October 22nd against the expansion Victoria Salmon Kings.
Thursday, August 12th - Come on down to the Holiday Inn Select for the Indoor War Report as the "Voice of the Blitz" Kevin Bartl is joined by Blitz Head Coach Rick Van Horne, and select 2004 Blitz players from 6:00pm - 7:00pm. The IWR is a great chance for fans to meet their favorite members of the 2004 Blitz as well as win great prizes. The Holiday Inn Select is located at the corner of Truxtun Avenue and Q Street. The show can also be heard live each week on KGEO AM 1230.
Saturday, August 14th - Join your West Division Champion Blitz as they host Peoria in the second round of the 2004 ArenaCup Playoffs. All fans in attendance will receive a 2004 Bakersfield Blitz Season Highlight Poster, sponsored by KGET-TV 17. Fans can also receive 2-1 admissions by wearing Dodgers gear as a part of Dodger Pride Night. On top of all that, in honor of the Olympic games in Athens, Greece, fans wearing a Toga will receive 2-1 admissions.

The Bakersfield Condors 2004-2005 season schedule has been updated! The Condors will open their second season in the ECHL on Friday, October 22, 2004 against the expansion Victoria Salmon Kings. Season tickets are now available with packages starting at just $30. Stop by the Bakersfield Sports Entertainment office at Centennial Garden or call the Condors at 324-PUCK (7825) for more information.
The annual Condors "Care-a-Van" is traveling to all parts of Kern County. The "Care-a-Van" has made stops in Ridgecrest and Tehachapi and will be motoring into Lake Isabella on Thursday, August 12th. Also in the works are trips to is planning trips to Shafter, Taft and Frazier Park. At each stop, by making a donation to Goodwill Industries or Houchin Blood Bank, fans can receive a free terrace level ticket for the Condors Opening Night game Friday, October 22nd against the expansion Victoria Salmon Kings.
