Portland Winterhawks News Release
The Portland Winterhawks welcome forward, Joachim Blichfeld back from the San Jose Sharks Training Camp. Blichfeld, drafted by the Sharks in the 7th round of the 2016 NHL Draft has spent the last few weeks in San Jose, California training with the Sharks. It was announced Wednesday morning that he was released, and is expected to be on the roster for the Winterhawks first regular season game on Saturday, September 22nd at the ShoWare Center in Kent Washington.
The Winterhawks begin their 2018-19 home schedule on September 29th against the Seattle Thunderbirds at the Moda Center. Individual tickets are now on sale. Be sure to visit winterhawks.com/tickets for full details on pricing and availability.
