
Weekend Preview: Wilkes-Barre/Scranton

New Jersey Titans News Release
The Titans are once again gearing up for a weekend series with the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Knights. This weekend will be games three and four of a five-game series between the two club. The Titans split the first two games with the Knights with a 6-3 loss at Middletown Ice World and a 4-0 win at Revolution Ice Centre.
Wilkes-Barre/Scranton
The Knights arrive in Middletown with a record of 3-9-2, which is last in the East Division and eight point behind the Aston Rebels for third place.
Wilkes-Barre/Scranton brought in new players like Jake Hamacher and Jimmy Elser over the past few weeks and both have made a difference in the young Knights lineup.
Additionally, the Knights have been balanced by the goaltending of Grant Valentine and Andrey Svistunov. Both have split time in between the pipes.
New Jersey
The Titans feature a different player in their lineup.
Over the week, New Jersey acquired forward Victor Ostling from the Aberdeen Wings in exchange for Christopher Murphy.
Ostling, a Stockholm, Sweden, native, is an NAHL veteran.
New Jersey is looking to pad their lead over the East Division. The Titans lead the second-place Johnstown Tomahawks by two points.
Pacing the Titans attack is forward Anthony Cusanelli, who leads with 14 points in 14 games played this season. Raymond Brice is also gaining steam with 13 points (seven goals and six assists).
New Jersey will go on the road Saturday Oct. 31 when they journey to Wilkes-Barre to faceoff against the Knights. Puck drop is scheduled for 7:00pm.
