Brownsville Barracudas News Release
HIDALGO, Texas - The Rio Grande Valley Barracudas are for the season opener against the El Paso Coyotes. This will be the first of four meetings between the Texas border cities.
The Barracudas will be counting on experienced players such as midfielders Antonio Manfut and Moises Gonzalez. Both players were teammates last season with the Syracuse Silver Knights combining for 36 goals and 18 assists.
El Paso will be looking for their first ever win as a franchise but will be counting on forward David Salas who led the team in points with 25 having found the net 15 times and dishing out 10 helpers.
