Barracudas Add Two to the Roster

HIDALGO, Texas - The Rio Grande Valley Barracudas announced today the addition of two new players to the roster for their upcoming game versus Pacific Division rival Ontario Fury. Per team and league policies, details of the agreement were not disclosed.
Goalie Mattia Novello comes to the Rio Grande Valley all the way from Italy in his first season of MASL. Novello has spent years playing FUTSAL in Italy and played in the third tier of Italian soccer.
Defender Victor Jimenez joins the Barracudas for his second stint. In his first stint with the team he played in seven games where he registered an assist and had eight shots on goal.
The Barracudas will start a three-game road trip as they will face the Ontario Fury at the Citizens Business Bank Arena with the kickoff set for 9:35 p.m. CST. The next home for the Barracudas is on Monday; February 19, 2018 with the kickoff set for 7:35 p.m. CST.
