
Week 14 Preview - Barracudas to host Coyotes in division match

HIDALGO, Texas - The Rio Grande Valley Barracudas will wrap up a three game home stand when they host division and in-state rival El Paso Coyotes visit State Farm Arena on Sunday evening with the kickoff set for at 5:05 pm CST.
This is the third meeting between Coyotes and Barracudas and the Coyotes have won the first two meetings earlier in the season. Barracudas look to dent El Paso's chances to stay in the chase for the last playoff spot in the Southwest division race.
RGV Barracudas will be counting on Ismael Pineda who has scored four times against the Coyotes this season, and Luiz Mota who has three assist in the season series against El Paso and Diego Rodriguez who has scored three goals in the series as well.
For El Paso their point of attack is spearheaded by Christian Gutierrez who has 10 points versus the Barracudas this season with eight goals and two assists, while David Salas has contributed with three goals in the series. Goalie Jesus Molina has 10 saves and a 52.6% save percentage in two wins over RGV.

The Barracudas will hit the road three road games at Ontario, CA; El Paso, TX and Monterrey, MX before returning home on Monday, February 19, 2018 when they host the Cedar Rapids Rampage with the kickoff set for 7:35 PM CST.
