LOWELL, MA - After a careful examination of the forecasted weather, and the radar, Wednesday's game between the Lowell Spinners, proud affiliate of the 2018 World Champion Boston Red Sox, and the Tri-City ValleyCats, affiliate of the Houston Astros, has been postponed due to inclement weather and flood warnings in the Merrimack Valley.
The game will be made up on Thursday night in a doubleheader, first pitch in the first game is scheduled for 6:05 p.m., gates will open at the regularly scheduled time of 6:00 p.m.
Tickets for tonight's game can be exchanged at the box office for any of the next two remaining regular season home games or any playoff game at LeLacheur Park.
Bud Man bobblehead vouchers will be given out at the gates tomorrow night for the first 800 fans in attendance. Tomorrow is also Country Night and our final Meet-The-Brewer night of the regular season.
We will also have $2 12-ounce Busch Light cans and $3 Student Tickets when you present a valid student ID at the box office.
The Spinners (38-32) now await the results of second-place Connecticut's matchup with Hudson Valley. A Tigers loss would mean the clinching of the Stedler Division for Lowell, whereas a win would keep the standings as is.
