
Wave's Final Regular Season Home Game Has Playoff Implications

After a tumultuous, injury riddled season, it all comes down to Saturday night's 6:05pm game at UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena for the 7-time champion Milwaukee Wave.
"I'm really happy about how this week has played out," said Head Coach Giuliano Oliviero. "The team has been putting in a lot of hard work and know what's at stake."
As of Friday morning April 1st, the MASL Ron Newman Cup Playoff Race has
San Diego (Sockers), Florida (Tropics), Kansas City (Comets), Chihuahua (Savage), Baltimore (Blast), and Dallas (Sidekicks) locked in.
Ontario (Fury), currently in the 7th position, can clinch a Wild Card Spot with a win and losses by Milwaukee and St. Louis. (Ontario at San Diego, Sun @ 7pm)
The Wave is hanging on the 8th and final playoff spot and with a win Saturday night against Dallas and a loss by St. Louis, (vs. KC / Sat @ 7pm) Milwaukee would clinch a Wild Card Spot.
"We've had some tough, disappointing and plain out bad games this year," added Oliviero. "But here we are coming into the last game of the season with an opportunity to have a new season begin. We are excited, ready for it and look forward to seeing all the princesses and superheroes!"
Wave fans! Don't forget to dress-up as your favorite Princess or Superhero for the game on Saturday! Be sure to get there early and join our pregame parade! Doors open at 5pm, the parade will begin at 5:15pm.
