THE SKINNY:
The Wave are 3-0 against their rivals in Baltimore, clinching the season series and the tiebreaker. But a loss here would drop Milwaukee into fourth, a game behind the Blast, and out of the playoffs if that's where they finished. Milwaukee has averaged 12.0 points in the three wins, far better than Baltimore's PAA of 9.4 for the season. Marco Terminesi has driven the Blast nuts with 17 points in their matchups; his status is still up in the air due to illness. The Wave remain the No. 1 penalty-killing team in the league (17 of 22, 3 shorthanded goals).
The league's two longest injury lists are in Milwaukee and Baltimore. The Blast will be without veteran midfielder Scott Buete, while dangerous forwards Machel Millwood and Carlos Garcia each are questionable with ankle and hamstring injuries, respectively. Baltimore is last in the league in scoring (10.8 ppg) but first in points allowed (9.4). Lucio Gonzaga had 14 points in his first two games, but only 12 in the next seven.
WAVE MILESTONE WATCH:
Giuliano Oliviero: 1,000 career points (997)
Troy Dusosky: 500 career blocks (480)
