THE SKINNY:
Milwaukee won the first of four matchups with Baltimore over this month, but these teams appear to be level, based on the season so far. The same record, with the same home/away splits. Two points separating their points allowed. A game that came down to overtime last Thursday. Baltimore may have Sagu back in goal; he's probable with a thumb injury. Milwaukee remains mostly healthy and has veteran midfielder Marcelo Fontana back and available. Nick Vorberg is slated to start in goal as part of the Wave's rotation.
High-powered La Raza has scored 40 points in the last two games, but both were at home. Overall, Monterrey has played 5 of 7 games at Arena Monterrey. This week, they venture Friday to Baltimore before traveling to Milwaukee for Sunday's game. Genoni Martinez is the MISL scoring leader with 23 points. It's a matchup of the worst power play team in the MISL (Monterrey, 1 for 11) and the best penalty killers (Milwaukee, 10 of 13).
WAVE MILESTONE WATCH:
Brett Wiesner: 100 games played (95)
Giuliano Oliviero: 1,000 career points (984)
Troy Dusosky: 500 career blocks (478)
